How/when did you get involved in CrossFit?
Working out has always been a passion of mine. I like to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy what CrossFit offers, an intense workout that works all aspects of your body.
Do you remember your first workout? How was it?
I can’t remember the exact WOD, but I do know that the first time is always the hardest, then you are hooked. Such a great feeling of accomplishment when you finish such a great workout.
How have you grown in that time — health, body, mind, etc.?
I have started with Primary CrossFit since Jan 2018 and started to feel the difference in my overall lifestyle. I have started to attract more good things in life professionally and personally and I plan to continue.
Favorite lift and WOD?
Deadlift is my favorite lift and AMRAP.
What about your least favorite?
Wall balls are my least favorite.
What are your fitness/health goals?
My goal is to maintain the muscle that I have gained and to become more lean and stronger. My goal is always to live a balanced lifestyle.
Is there a specific diet or nutritional habit that helps you with your goals?
A discussed with Coach Brenden, I have been following Zone Diet for the last three months and down from 170 lbs & 16.3 % fat to 157.6 lbs & 14.7 % body fat.
What motivates you?
I am working to achieve my dream of having lean muscles and a fit body which has been an aspiration since I was a teenager. Now I found the right institute to achieve my goal.
Do you have any advice for new members?
Do not give up. You can scale the workout to make it fit your fitness level and once you get started and get into a routine if you happen to miss a few days you really miss the workout.
What do you hope to achieve in the coming year?
150 lbs with 10% body fat in the first six months and master Double Unders and Hand Stand pushups.
