How/when did you get involved in CrossFit?
Moved to Uptown in August 2016, had a gym in my old apartment and needed a new place to work out!
Do you remember your first workout? How was it?
It was back squats and Fran…I barely made it up the stairs when I got home
Favorite lift and WOD?
Favorite lift is the clean, favorite WOD is Bradshaw
What about your least favorite?
Sumo deadlift high pulls and “the Don”
What are your fitness/health goals?
Crossfit: get stronger, maybe a little bigger, be able to do everything Rx. Life: never feel like I’m not in good enough shape to do anything I want to do.
Is there a specific diet or nutritional habit that helps you with your goals?
I’ve tried to cut out all processed foods, eat healthy at home since it’s hard to do when travelling. I’ve also had to consciously eat more than I used to in order to maintain and gain weight.

Do you have any advice for new members?
Stick with it, its a ton of fun when you’re able to do stuff that was previously impossible
What do you hope to achieve in the coming year?
There’s a few wods like Grace and DT I’d like to be able to do Rx (in a reasonable time), plus gymnastics movements for the next Open
What was your favorite WOD of the Open? Least favorite?
19.2 was great. 19.4 was hell.
